Officers SS Colt .45 IV 80 high cap mags? Other info needed too

Just wondering on Who the best made most reliable clips that hold a bit more ammo for my Officers model Colt 45. are made by? My org. Colt clips are 6 round and don't like to feed the first round of wide mouth JHP's. Chips clips feed most everything well.. How do you all feel about Chip McCormick made clips? There is a lot of extra play,movement in the followers. How do they hold up, and would you use them in your serious self defence pistols? I have a pair of the Officers Colt .45's I use one for the night stand and one for a carry gun.. They are both stock except one has a wide beavertail and both have the factory feed ramp polished..Both have Pachmayr Signature grips for comfit and control. Any more thoughts on these guns and how you would set them up for my intended use? Thanks for your input!! George
