The metalwork is VERY clean, the fitting of the sights, safety etc is extremely well done. I don't care for the BHP style slide cut but I'd bet the customer that ordered this gun is flat thrilled.
I kind of like the BHP front end.
One way of dealing with front slide serrations, too.
But my FLG is reluctant to do it because it will get so close to the bushing cut inside the slide.
jdomin, those are VZ Gatorback grips, a micarta product available in many color schemes. I have them on my pistols and absolutely love the feel, nevermind that cool look. Haven't found any other grip that holds the hand so well without holding the hand too well, if ya know what I mean. Definitely worth the money.
Roger, that's a beaut of a pistol, and almost identical to my Yost 1991. The only caveat I would give is regarding that Novak adj rear sight. Mine blew up twice in less than 2k rounds, and I'll never have another Novak sight on my pistols.
Sadly, I have to say goodbye to the single-action world as the politicos at work have decreed them to be unsafe. Unless I can find a nice Para LDA, I'm gonna have to buy something ugly and without character.
