(C) No person shall knowingly transport or have a loaded firearm in a vessel in such a manner that the firearm is accessible to the operator or any passenger.
(D) No person shall knowingly transport or have a firearm in a vessel unless it is unloaded and is carried in one of the following ways:
(1) In a closed package, box, or case;
(2) In plain sight with the action opened or the weapon stripped, or, if the firearm is of a type on which the action will not stay open or that cannot easily be stripped, in plain sight.
I don't have time right now to read the whole thing.
What's up with this part? So we wouldn't be able to have a loaded weapon on our person while in a car?:confused:

This actually pertains to a boat or ship. If you read down farther. you will see where they get into transporting in a motor vehicle.

We need to keep a very close eye on this one. If we could get 5 more sponsor's in the House. This bill would become veto proof so BooBoo, Bob wouldn't be able to veto it. The other thing we need to watch is when the state senate get's this bill we need to make sure they don't hack it up like they did with HB274.

Bottom line is...All of the Bi@#hing in the world won't do any good if the right people don't hear it. Now is the time you talk to your friends, and neighbors, and tell them to write, call , and/or E-mail your state lawmakers. Let them know how you feel about getting this one passed.

Also let them know that you will be watching how they vote on this bill, and how you will reflect on their vote when the next election come's around. :scrutiny:
