Uberti 1860 which I have a stock for, Armi San Marcos fluted 1860

Very nice collection, Gordon! Please bear with me for the following things.

I am very interested in Army and Navy 4-screw cut for stock revolvers (I have one of each: ASM 1860 BC/1993 SN E04531 and Pietta 1851 AZ/1990). Could you post a photo of the Uberti 1860 with the shoulder stock? I am interested in the wood and how well it fits the frame/backstrap. Since it fits the Uberti, who manufactured the stock?

As of late I have become very interested in ASM 1860 revolvers and their parts. My 1860 has both the original round/engraved cylinder and an Uberti fluted cylinder I purchased that fits almost perfectly and functions well. I am curious about the date code/SN of your ASM 1860 and I am guessing it may be made in the early 90's. I recently acquired an ASM 1860 grip assembly for a VERY good price that I will adapt to the Pietta Navy with much fitting. I know that ASM made the fluted cylinder version from at least 1992 [BB] to 1995 [BF]. This is a scan from a 1992 EMF catalog showing both cylinder types:

I am not trying to one-up you by posting photos of my ASM 1860 with Pietta replica Type 3 stock. Just for comparison with yours:

Thanks in advance!

My stock is a Cimarron Lightweight stock I bought for $119 or gun broker. It said it fits 4 screw cut out 1860 Ubertis and it did mine.
https://www.cimarron-firearms.com/skeletal-shoulder-stock.html The fluted on is an Arim Sam Marco which HAS also 4 screws and the heel and cylinder cuts and it could fit the fluted gun with 10 minutes file work, but it might be a tad loose on my Uberti, Hope that helps.

The boot pistol takes 20 grains of 3 or 4 F powder in a chamber and you set the .451 ball on it and screw on the barrel which compresses and seals the charge ! It hits HARD and the bag grip take the recoil well! I fanticise what guns I would wear if I lived in early days and different eras and places. Probably in California in 1850s-1870 I would have showed up with the Walker and boot pistol , which take the same ball . There were grizzlies and lions and wolves in the Central California coastal ares where I know and love . That and a .45 rifle would have been cool to have one ball size ..; Now In the Western breaks of the Dakotas 1840-1860 probably have a couple 1851 Navies and a 10 Gauge Double (which I do have :) ) which could use the .375 balls a, and a good 50 or so rifle like my Lyman great plains rifle. In towns around the Northern California areas 1860s -1880s the .36 Police and the .58 Rem .36 I have would be great together . ! One is none and two is one :) Down in the Wild South West 1860-1870 it would be my brace of 1860 Armies and the 10 gauge double once again !

Thanks, Gordon. Any date code SN on the ASM 1860 of yours?

Gordon and expat,
Thanks for those gorgeous photos. All my BP guns are carefully cleaned after each session. But at least twice a year they all come out for a wipe down. The handguns get the silicone cloth treatment. The long guns get a coating of Renaissance Wax. It's a good excuse to fondle the toys even when I can't get to the range.
