I had a SBH 7 1/2" for 30 years. Took several deer and hogs with it.
Got into CAS. Sold the SBH and bought a 4.62" Blackhawk .357. Soon after, 5 1/2" Vaquero .357.
Preferred the 4.62" and adjustable sights, so I traded the Vaquero for an Old Model Blackhawk .41 Mag 4.62"
At a gun show, stumbled across 4.62" SBH.
Came across a 4.62" Vaquero dual cylinder .45
Wanted the BH, but them Vaquero will do, until I find a BH. Then the Vaquero will be gone.
I do have a 7 1/2" BH. It is in .30 Carbine. The only barrel length ever made in that caliber. I don't see ever changing it.
My 2 Single Sixes are a 5 1/2" and a 6 1/2". I much prefer the 5 1/2" over the 6 1/2". But 4.62" would be better. The fly in the ointment, youngest grandson has laid claim to the 5 1/2" and his brother, the 6 1/2". They use them in CAS, also.
