Rifle: Ruger M77 in .308 (have it, love it: simple take down, easy to clean, I could teach anyone in my family to use it)

Shotgun: Benelli Super Nova 12ga. (don't own one, but love it. Again, I think it's simple, anyone in my family could use it for hunting or SD) I just personally prefer it to the 870.

Pistol: FNP 40 or FNP 45 USG (assuming I get to keep the 3 magazines it comes with this platform is also simple, both calibers enable good ammo capacity)


Can I have a rod and reel too?

I'll play... You need reliability and durability.

Rifle - Saiga in .308. Reliable, durable, relatively accurate, and great caliber. Great for hunting and home defense.

Pistol - Glock anything. Probably 9mm, .40, or .45. Reliable, durable, and all good calibers with plentiful ammo.

Shotty - Duh - Remington 870 with long and short barrels. Hunting and home defense perfection.

The op asked what you would use why do people have to throw his choice under the bus Grow up man! If you don't like the mini's thats fine, but the bashing really has to stop. :banghead:

Shotgun = Thought about picking my S12. but I'll go w/my Remington 870.

Pistol = My XD9SC. I seem to shoot this the best & it's easy to carry. Tough call though b/c my G19 & M&P40 are also good.
