Back in the 70's I bought a Spanish-made wheellock pistol kit (Navy Arms? Can't remember). Put it together, function-tested it, and the chain wrapped around the wheel broke on the very first try. Back in those days, a lot of BP guns from Spain were pure junk.

It makes a great wall-hanger, though
