I picked up a P99AS back in January and have been very happy with mine. It carries pretty easily. I'd say it falls in a bit of middle ground between a Glock 17 and Glock 19. the length of the top end is about the same as the 19, but it's definitely a tiny bit longer in the grip. That said, the ergonomics of the gun are out of this world. The trigger is incredible, even in DA. It's a very smooth, predictable trigger. The SA trigger pull is also very smooth and light. I would highly recommend picking one of these up if you have the chance. The biggest faults I have with this gun are (1) the seeming lack of readily available accessories (i.e. holsters) and (2) the polymer sights. They do the job just fine, but if you use a kydex holster, it will do a number on the front sight. I'd like to get a front night sight from Mepro or Trijicon, but I'm having trouble finding one that's the height that I like, that being the factory "4" front sight which IIRC is .180".
