Hi guys,

Oldie-newbie. Been reading, not commenting.
I'm curious about your online optics purchases - any vendors better or worse than others? Service & reliability? Returns?
Specifically did anyone try this site: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/browse/Binoculars-Scopes/ci/978/N/4294541872 looks decent - does anyone know if they're good & reliable? Pricewise seems like the best out there. Site also clean & easy to use.

Also, anyone know about the Trijicon Accupin?

I have only purchased from one online optics company (www.swfa.com)...
I traded in a Bushnell fixed 10x for a Super Sniper fixed 16x...
I was treated fairly on my trade in and I am very happy with the scope I purchased... Their prices are always competitive also...
 
I have ordered several scopes, rings and a red dot sight from Optics Planet online. I have had good service, including one time when I had to return a scope (wrong reticle). And that's shipping here to London!
 
I have bought camera lenses for my wife from them. Always good service and prices seemed reasonable.
 
B&h is an awesome store. If you're ever in nyc, highly recommended to check it out. Their service is world class and sales staff extremely knowledgeable.
 
B&H is very dependable and they usually have good prices. I've bought cameras and lenses and filters and scopes from them with no complaints.
 
Will not do business with optics planet. I buy my glass from cabelas or B&H, both are great.

I've bought from Midway & SWFA, no problems with either one of them. Had to return a scope to SWFA & that got taken care of with no problem as well.

Sometimes you can find what you want, for less, at Amazon. For example, recently they were the folks with the best price I could find online for a Vortex Monocular.
 
I've made optics purchases from B&H, Midway, Optics Planet, and SWFA over the years and have always been pleased with prices and service from these outfits.
 
B&H and J&R are both as good as it gets +10%
on price, service and returns.

word of caution -- educate yourself on the product you want
before calling; not all the sales staff are up on each and every item so
its up to you to know that who you are talking to knows what they
are talking about.
 
I've used b&h, adorama, natchez, midway, cabelas, cameralandny, and opticsplanet and never had a problem. B&H will send you a big catalogue for a while if you use them. Optics planet will often have a 10% off code at any holiday, natchez has high shipping, as does midway, and cabelas has high prices. but they're all solid.
 
Honestly, check Amazon. They source from all different places and have the best return policy. I've bought from a lot of the places that the previous posters have mentioned, and never had an issue with any of them, but anymore I START on Amazon. Just a thought....

I've bought from Optics Planet with zero issues. I haven't bought optics from them, but Midway has always treated me right.

My last scope came from Gun Broker, which can be hit or miss.
 
I have bought cameras and lenes from B&H Photo that cost a couple thousand dollars each, they have always been great to me. I always go between them and Adorama. Adorama usually gives me better deal when I call.

As far a riflescopes I have ordered from Manventure Outpost whith the best and fastest service. I ordered a Bushnell Elite Tactical from them it was the best deal I had found by over $200 difference and was at my house in three days. I live in the middle of nowhere, honestly..Other companies I have ordered from include Optics Planet (Great Service too just not as good of a deal), SWFA (took a bit to get the order out buy exactly what I have come to expect), and Midway USA (slow shipping and normal to normal high pricing).
 
I'm a fan of Primary Arms. Their house brand red dot magnifiers are great, especially the extended eye relief 3X.

Good folks and fast shipping. They primarily cater to the AR/AK optics, but they get high marks for customer service and fast shipping.

I just got a new Zeiss scope from Optics Planet a few days ago, they were good to deal with and the scope came FAST!
