Well, I have been thinking about it for about a week so I went ahead and ordered one. I should have it on Monday. Hopefully I will be able to get to the range on Tuesday. If anyone has one please let me know how you like it or dislike it. Thanks.

I like mine a lot. I like it even more since having S&W perform their Master Revolver Action Job on it. The gun shoots to POA with 230 gr ammo and has a very smooth trigger. I just ordered a set of Ahrends Cocobolo grips for it, which will take care of that gap behind the trigger guard.

I bought one a few months ago. I had ordered it and when I got it I found that it had the worst trigger I'd ever encountered on a S&W. I wasn't too surprised about the trigger. I planned to send it out for a trigger job even before I got it.

That said, I bought it because I like how it looks and feels...I still do. I'll like it even more once the trigger job is done. :)

I like mine as well. I tried other grips on it, but stayed with the factory grips with a Tyler T-Grip, and it fits my hand perfectly. Rides nice in a Bianchi cross draw holster.

Lots of fun, plenty accurate, and very quick reloads with moon clips. Mine has a pretty good trigger out of the box and is getting even better (like most S&W's) with use.

I agree. The combination of the factory grips and the Tyler T-Grip preserves the retro look that made me buy it in the first place.

The one I handled was very nice indeed, apart from that ugly logo on the side - apparently they can be ordered "plain".

The Thunder Ranch M21 had that logo on the guns sideplate. The TR 22 just had grips with the TR logo. Marked improvement IMO. I actually wouldn't have minded the sideplate logo if it was not done in gold. Same reason I didn't buy the anniversary M29-10 (luckily a little waiting paid off there - they started making them without the gold logo). I wanted a 21 when they first came out but, having seen that logo in person, I moved one. I've seen several TR 22s and, if I hadn't already decided on something else, I probably would have walked away with one. I've seen one of the new 21s in nickel done by the custom shop but haven't seen any without the logo.

Bought a new blued M21 44 special, without the gold sign on the side. Am very pleased with it. Believe they are still being produced/available?

Glad to hear you folks like it.

That's what mine has. I will be picking it up on Monday. I am really curious to see what the trigger feels like.
