ExcellentI haven't had issues getting reloading supplies (powder, primers, bullets, etc) or ammo delivered to me while living on base in family housing. I know some base orders limit the amount of ammo you can have, citing fire issues although I think it is all baloney. Ask the housing office and PMO if you cannot locate the base order or still have questions/concerns.
Unfortunately, you'll find that shippers don't like (won't) keep HAZMAT in their facility for pick-up.change the delivery instructions to have the package held for pickup at the local office.

(Ask me how I re-learned this only yesterday)
Which shipper gave you trouble? I've not had a problem doing it on the UPS website and got no grief from the staff at my local UPS office. (It does have to be a depot office, not a UPS store.) Maybe they've changed their policy recently, my last Hazmat shipment was 6 months ago. I guess I'll find out with the next powder order.
