Outrageous! Biden's Chief of Staff closes "NO AWB" poll

Just wrote my reps about this infringement on the First Amendment and posted it of FB. The idea is some of my fence sitting contacts will see how how easy it is to for them to violate the Constitution and how once the 2nd is gone, the rest will follow.

Someone start a petition that whitehouse.gov NOT close petitions that contradict their assertions of "what the people want"?

The only way is to organize huge 2A rallies and marches in every major cities in North America. The time to show our rights to bear arms without govt interference is now. It is now or never ! NRA must consider this move to visibly show our protest in case they push for arbitrary gun ban disregarding the voice of many gunowners.
 
This honestly is a violation of the First Amendment, in my opinion. So now we're down 2 rights because they want to ban guns. I'm not all that surprised.

But the American people want Obama--they want the fundamental changes he dreams about, namely a statist, socialist country where the majority of people can "feel safe" and be provided for (by stealing from other people, of course, and borrowing from other countries). If they wanted anything different then they would have voted for it. The rest of the world wants him, too--they've even given him awards for accomplishing nothing so far. :rolleyes:

Wait until the opposition is voted out of office by those who desire a fundamentally changed America, which obviously means a country that is no longer America. Most Americans don't like America anymore, really--that's how they're taught to think in public schools, anyway. Liberty is not worth a single life, and we must support a government that will provide for us and guide us, sacrificing the freedom of the individual for the overall good of the collective--that's how most Americans are beginning to think. :uhoh: Make no mistake, there is nothing "liberal" about this in the true sense of the word--this is socialism and statism that are desired by a frightened people, plain and simple.
 
Manco I'm starting to think the same way you are. I hope this doesn't come to civil war, but I can't see anything good coming of this. I am a patriot, but I don't like what's going on with the current administration and the current attitude of most Americans.

Nathan, I agree. Unfornutately I'm never in the know. People in WA, let me know what I can do.

JBrady, I hope it doesn't come to that, but I've been thinking that if they get too aggressive a stance on guns, it might well lead to cessession or something equally drastic. I wish instead that our country can get back to its roots about what it really is about.

We must do this while open carrying. This is a display of power. Politicians must see their leash. They must understand that this is a very dangerous law for the country.

I know, it stinks. But...they will not leave us alone. Politicians literally feel comfortable openly talking about confiscation! Ridiculous...and I thought I would never see it from a state governor in my lifetime. All I want to do is take my stupid Ruger 10/22 to the range every week and shoot paper at 25 yards.

Remember that guy who had a thigh rig in New Hampshire protesting ObamaCare? Look at the screaming the MSM engaged in after ONE MAN openly carried while protesting! The MSM tried to make people believe they cannot exercise TWO rights simultaneously!

It is time to get out, take days off, and show up or we'll face war. I really do not want to do either, but I prefer to take a few days off than face a few years of war started by some hot heads.
 
I'll say upfront that I hope I'm wrong and that if this does happen it will end nowhere near the idealistic dreams of anyone cheering for it now: If the government, regardless of who sits in the oval office, continues to throw force and derission at the populace, someone is going to do something stupid and kick off a wave of unrest like we haven't seen in our country since the most violent days of the civil rights erea.

I do agree that the whitehouse is and will continue to use theses petitions as a wedge to exclude the right from any any meaningful debate. Cherry picking is just another method of controlling the discussion, much like debating someone who knows nothing about a given subject but "feels" their opinion has validity in spite of fact. Yammering bliss-ninny anti-gunners, anyone?

My best recommendation is what others have said already. Contact your directly elected representatives and plainly tell them that you expect them to either vote against any legislation or expect to be unemployed next election.
 
I don't know about civil war or calls to arms just yet, but I think that organizing militias would be a good idea, just in case.

It is just like Obama and his sheep to basically say "we don't want to hear what you have to say unless you agree with us".

He says he has heard what we have to say...no he hasn't, his ears are closed.

The guy is going to go down with Andrew Jackson, John Adams and Abraham Lincoln as one of the worst violators of civil liberty.

I certainly hope not. It'll trash my 401k and possibly result in a blown up house.

This is why I want to see massive protests with participants openly carrying (safely, of course). Politicians need to realize that what they're doing goes beyond mere philosophy and that there may be real consequences.

I hear ya on that skribs. Depending on how you look at things though our country was built fighting oppression similar to what we are dealing with now. This moment is why the founding fathers created the 2A in the first place.

The petition was closed for a reason. The only purpose of the petition is to get an official response. Get the WH to notice it, and maybe respond. That's it. The polls list a "goal" of 25,000. At 31,000 signitures, with a response, from the VP COS... it's done. You did it.
It's not a voting system. That was in November.
Take your rage to your Congressmem, that's thier job.
 
If there is any hint of the impending AWB not making it through congress, then everything will be done by Executive Order. What an incestuous mix of socialism and fascism this admin displays.

Is Socio-facism the new world order? I will not participate in the abandonment of our constitution. I am proud to be an American and ashamed of how our government chooses to rule by dictate.

Then why was the one Obama created still up and running well past 30,000?
 
When it comes time to stand, we need to stand together, or get picked off one by one.

Armed marches in every state capitol would be a heck of a fine start. Bring the evil black assault rifles.

Loaded.

No one in their right mind would stand in our way or try to stop us.
