Hi all,
Just wanted to let you know about the great customer service provided by Daniel Defense.
I have one of their A 1.5 fixed rear sights on an AR-15 flat top.
I read in a thread on M4carbine.net that some of the early examples of this sight had a slight side to side play defect http://m4carbine.net/showthread.php?...daniel+defense .
On Saturday I discovered that mine had about 1/8 inch lateral play.
Sunday I emailed Daniel Defense regarding the defect.
Monday I had an answer to my email.
Wednesday I had a replacement sight in hand along with a prepaid UPS label to send the old sight back.
The new sight is rock solid with absolutely no lateral play at all.
anyone looking for a "KISS" fixed rear sight for an AR, you wont find better than this one
A company that produces superior products and stands behind them, now THAT'S change I can believe in!
