anyone handle a new American made Sug P210 (standard). The lockup at the end of travel sticks as if the hood lockup is tight but Ive been pushing on the muzzle to drop the barrel put of the ejection port then pushing it back into battery to break it in but its just as tight and I can't see any wear. When you handle it or press check it stays out of battery it hasn't been fired yet so hopefully it clears up. Anyone have this going on with there P210 and did it clear up? *note I just noticed 2 scratches gouged in inside the slide just forward of the ejection port underneath. Also the heat treat made that area rainbow colored :) (im easily amused)

Are you hand cycling slowly, riding the slide home or are you letting it fly from slide lock? The SIG P210 will be tight. That's the way they're made. No saying that there cannot be an issue, but hand cycling slowly will give you a false indication.

Its just when hand cycling ive read that this is a common "issue". I think I've narrowed it down to the kidney bean and slide stop pin. Ive cycled the pistol by pressing the muzzle so it only travels the lockup distance worked it about 1,000 times so far, its helped some. This is a range toy and a political expression on the second of every month, a Barbeque gun as they say so im not super worried about it. Ive contacted sig to see what others have experienced just to be sure its just a tight tolerance that needs to wear in and not a actual issue. This baby is smooth as **** ive always wanted one, I even saved up for one then my Ex used that money on b.s so I am very happy to own it
