Well, I wasn't intending to buy another handgun, but somehow ended up with this on layaway last weekend and now I'm looking for some goodies for it. :)

I wanted to put a set of rubber grips on it but it doesn't look like anyone makes them.

Hogue and Pachmayr don't have the P225 listed on their site. Nill makes their custom wooden grips, but I'm not interested.

Anyone aware of another company that makes something?

Pachmayer made them at one time and there is some old stock out there, try KY Imports, other than that you are out of luck as far as I know. The Nills are nice but expensive.

Whoohoo!..they have a set of Pach Signature's listed and I emailed them.

Found a set on ebay but they weren't complete.

Thanks for the help.

Any holster recommendations? I'm thinking OWB to begin with.

This gun is going to be fun..few things made for it since its discontinued.

's ok..it'll be worth it. Nice gun and it fit just right. Always figured if I bought another 9 mm, it would be something with more capacity, but what can you do when the right one comes along. :)

There should be holsters out there. The DA tends to be heavy, you might want to consider a trigger job to lighten it some. Have fun, great looking gun and its a Sig.

Great purchase - you will really love the 225 - Its actaully my wife's favorite gun in the house - They are easy to shoot and feel really good in the hand. I use the Pachmyer grips on the gun - i usually get them off of E-Bay(I've had other 225s so ive had to buy several sets of grips for them) there are usually a few sets floating around - I find the wood ones ok but i still go back to the rubber ones. If you can't find a set of rubber ones - well just use the factory grips- they still feel darn great when shooting the 225
Have FUN!!!

Gander Mountain is selling these factory reconditioned/used for $399 today. I looked but there another S&W calling my name.

Sigarms has replacement factory grips for $15 per plate/side (I just bought new grips for my beloved P225). Though if you're really set on rubber, why not just put a Hogue HandAll grip sleeve on your P225? An even cheaper alternative is to use a small section of bicycle inner-tube as a grip sleeve.

nero(loves single-stack 9's....)

Yeah, I've considered the tire thing. There are Pachmayr slip on grips available. I'm kind of holding out for a set of Signatures but we'll see. I'm not evening going to pick up the gun until January, so I have time..but if anyone comes across a set, let me know.
