hey guys i just placed an order for one of aims p225 that are coming in next week and was wondering if anyone knew of a good IWB LEFTY holster. I have a G-code i use now for my Mak but they dont make a holster for the p225. Do any of yall know if a holster for another sig will fit the 225 correctly? Also i want to find some nice checkered wood grips i think Sigs just look good with some wood:) Thanks guys,

HH

Any of the custom holster makers can make a left-handed IWB for that gun, but Milt Sparks' wait, for example, is running 6-8 months.. If you want it a little sooner, look at the Galco Summer Comfort for a P228/229. I have one of these (which I actually use for a CZ PCR;)), and the trigger guard molding appears to extend forward enough to accommodate the P225's elongated and squared off trigger guard.

yeah i was looking at MS holster when i first bought my Mak and wow there back long has gone way up. i may end up getting one of their holster eventually but for now i need something sooner. Thanks for the lead on the galco

I have a blade-tech UCH for my P225 and getting it lefty was no trouble at all.

Just fyi, Blackhawk SERPA holsters for the P220 seem to work just fine for the P225/P6. I have both a P220 (older non-rail model) and a P6, plus a SERPA and the P6 does fit, however it has a very small amount of slack between the trigger guard and SERPA retention notch. Because of this slack, the gun can move in and out around 4-6mm, however it is still retained fairly well by the retention notch (I haven't tried yanking too hard). SERPA's don't seem to exactly be ideal anyways for concealment unless you don't mind carying OWB with thicker garments or a jacket or something. Just thought I should mention it to give you some ideas on other options out there.

Also, Comp Tac makes multiple different IWB holsters for the P225:

Link They make their CTAC, Gurkha, Pro Undercover, and Shirt Tuck line holsters all for the P225. They also make several OWB holsters for the P225 as well.

hwy thanks for the links guys that helps me out a lot. I only have one more question for now, do yall know of a single mag pouch that holds the mag horizontally instead of vertically? I have one i use with my mak but i dont have any idea where it came from, other than i found it in my fathers box-O- random holsters a few years ago. I have used it since i have been carrying and i found that i really like the way it rides. Thanks again guys,

HH

EDIT: spelling
