Hi all, ordered a thousand 125 grain 9mm projectiles from Palmetto Projectiles nearly three weeks ago, and haven't received the order yet. I have sent a couple emails to the company in the last few days, but haven't heard anything yet. When I go to the website, it still says that my order is confirmed, and they will email me when the order ships.

I am not really too worried about it, because I can't reload right now due to a hip replacement a couple weeks ago, but I got such a great deal, I would love to give them more of my business in the future. I would just just like to get an idea of how long their lead time is, so I don't run out of projectiles at a bad time. Does anyone have any recent dealings with this company, and what were your experiences?

Did the hurricane or subsequent flooding shut them down for awhile?

I haven't ordered from them in awhile but they are good people and put out a great product.

Thanks for the input guys. I didn't know that palmetto projectiles and palmetto state armory are the same business, or group of businesses. Interesting if they are, beacause they don't sell the coated projectiles at palmetto state armory. Really hoping to get the bullets soon, because they are highly recommended, and the prices are by far the best I have found online.

Last month I ordered a BCG/ammo combo from PSA and it took 2 weeks to get the order. They have good deals, you just have to wait for the stuff.

That is my guess. We had a bit of wind down here that stopped pretty much everything for a few days.

Palmetto Projectiles and Palmetto State Armory are not the same business. PSA is based in Greenville and has 2 stores in Columbia that are completely separate from PP's store there.

Just an update. Still haven't heard anything from the company after a couple of brief emails asking for an update. As stated above it isn't really a big deal, since I can't reload for a few weeks, but still isn't good customer service to not even respond to a request for information. I will let people here know how it finally settles out.

And now another week with no bullets, and no response from the company about how long it may be for delivery. I have noticed that the website shows the bullet I ordered is now out of stock. My best guess is that they were totally unprepared for the volume of orders they received. Still would be nice to get a response of some kind from the company.

For the sake of comparison, I ordered 3300 pc of 9mm coated from Bayou on Monday, regular shipping, and according to the tracking number the bullets are on the truck for delivery today (Thursday).

I am going to have to order some bullets from another vendor while I wait for these from palmetto. The price with shipping was just too good to pass up. It was 10 bucks less per 1000 than bayou or even eggelston, which has some great specials
