Paper on the line again

I tried again using the TrueWave end papers, this time folded over instead of using the cigarette paper glued to the bottom. They worked better, BUT the bad caps ruined the experience, as I ran out of Remington #11...and broke out the Winchester #11 magnum caps that was all I could find during the height of the plandemic. Those proved to be hard to ignite and twisted on the nipples. Dagnabbit.

What lube are you using?
Gatofeo No. 1 Lubricant
1 part mutton tallow.
1 part canning paraffin
1/2 part real beeswax
All parts are by weight, not volume!
I measure out 200/200/100 grams on a kitchen scale, toss the ingredients into a wide mouth Mason jar, and set the jar in 3 or four inches of boiling water for a double-boiler effect to melt it.
The result is a medium hard lubricant that keeps black powder fouling soft and eliminates or reduces leading.
I pour this in a small flat pan about .040" thick.
Use .45 Colt shell to make cookies and store them in an empty CCI #11 cap can to use at the range where I put one over the ball and press down with my finger.
Works good for me.

Amoredman would have quite a trip to meet that mutton squeezer, not sure it would be worth it, besides that his better half is pretty handy with a gun! By the way I am running a 4th of July special on my full on tune, $20 off.
