I just picked up my third Para. Here are some pics and the 15yard targets, shot freehand, using cheap Winchester White Box 147gr. JHP's. Not a single problem with function. This is my first that is not stainless though and I am wondering how the finish will hold up especially on the alloy frame.

I really like this rear sight much better than on my other two guns.

Trying to see if it shoots to point of aim...it does!!!

One full mag, at 15yards, as quickly as I could get back on target, which was very easy since there was hardly any recoil whatsoever. The accuracy is more than what I expected with this gun.

finish

I loved my para carry 9 but the alloy finish totally sucked. In less than 500 rounds the gun looked a 100 years old. Finsih flaked off all over the frame. Was very dissapointed to say the least.

By the way though, darn nice shot group!!!

My Kimber looks good after 3000 rounds, but the finish does like to chip sometimes. Around the slidestop is the most frequent place it rubs. I've heard about ceramicoat as a good finish. I will send it off when it gets real ugly. Oh, and real nice groups there.
