Pearce grip extension on XD40

Sorry if this has already been beaten to death but today I put a Pearce grip extension on the 9rd mag for my XD40 subcompact. Big difference for me both in comfort and accuracy. I always shot better with the 12rd extended mag over the short 9. With the extension the 9 is not as long as the 12rd mag but it supports my fingers correctly. I never liked my little finger curled under.

I know appearance means little with an XD but I wish it was in OD green like the gun... just because.

Now, where can I purchase more quality 9 round mags for my XD40 and are there any to stay away from?

i have that exact xd sc and that is the first thing i did on the 9rd mag, i knew it was gonna be a problem with the finger hanging off so i fixed that right away.

as far as mags buy factory they are inexpensive and they are quality stay with factory only.

gun show today,don't know how much luck I'll have but I'll be looking for factory mags, more pearce grip extensions an XD mag loader and a mag holster.
