Speaking of Ruger .357's.

The Ruger Redhawk chambered in .357mag.,.

Not many even know they made one in .357.

I've been searching for one for years now. :banghead:

Another good example of a gun they coudn't give away at the time, that is now highly sought after.....

I bought one for way under wholesale, shot it a little, then sold it.

Shoulda kept them all.... Course I would have had to live in my car.....

HI-STANDARD MODEL H-D MILITARY .22LR - Excellent Range & Woods Pistol
Charter Arms Pit Bull 9mm Federal (Rimmed version of 9x19) - Good idea but not enough sales to support continued ammo production.
Colt Detective Special .38Spl - What was Colt thinking? :banghead:
Walther PPK/s .32acp in Stainless Steel (1998 only)
Colt Delta Elite *

* Maybe with the renewed interest in 10mm Colt will reconsider; Are You listening General Keys?

.41 mag redhawk, 10mm smith autos, a whole list of gun makers with regards to the mighty ten emm-emm, and .41 magnum.
I second the star PD, that little pistol rocks!
The PD I bought sat on the shelf at a local shop for 10+ years.
Good condition, price tag of $279, IIRC.
I kept on buying the other guns in the case, and never gave it a second look.
Because of people in this forum (Actually, it may have been TFL?) that gave theirs GLOWING reviews, one after the other, I picked it up.
No regrets whatsoever.

Sig Pro 2340 in 40S&W. Best handgun I've owned to date. Hits whare I aim, never had a FTF, jam, never. Fits my hand great. I pull the trigger and it goes bang- ALWAYS! Best bang for the buck in my book.

Gyrojet, Wildey, Steyr GB, HK VP70, P9s, Bren Ten, LAR Grizzly Mark 1 and all the other stuff from the 70s and 80s that didn't make it.

I was happy to see mention of the Star PD. I've always felt it was one of the all-time underrated pistols.

I once picked up a new Star Firestar M-40 (40 S&W). It was 100% reliable, quite accurate ... just a little too heavy for me, and the safety wasn't quite as positive as I wanted (for an SA cocked-and-locked carry pistol). I traded it away for another handgun I no longer possess and regret it to this day. I think the Firestars were good pistols.

The S&W 645 --- ah, another personal favorite. Were it not for that blasted slide-mounted safety ...

Hey, I've got a Taurus 908 ... and a 945 also. Excellent pistolas ...

Coonan 357mag semi autos. H&R Sportsman 999's. Colt Magnum Carry's.

Sig P225.

It seems the Full size 226 or 220 gets all the glory. For concealment, everyone goes for the 239. Rarely do I hear about the P225. And the few times I do hear about it its always positive.
Seems to me that's the only one people talk about when someone asks about a concealable Sig on TFL.
The CCO style 1911s like the Kimber Compact or Colt CCO.
Amen. Used to have a Colt CCO, sold it because I was low on cash. Regretted it ever since.
10mm 1911s.
That is what Kimber is for. Picking up an Eclipse 10mm in a few weeks. :D

Do I ever....

My very first pistol was a Stoeger Luger replica in .22 LR. I put literally thousands of rounds downrange and that sucker never jammed.

Perfect ergonimics, slick trigger, good sights, deadly accurate, and sexy good looks.

I honestly have never seen one since......

I own a Springfield Ultra Compact High Cap that is a sweetheart of a gun. 12 rounds of 45acp that has been totally reliable and accurate. I know its limitations weight wise(with the newer metals), and have read stuff against it, reliability wise. My experience is, it's a GREAT firearm! Just one man's opinion.

Casting a vote for the Smith & Wesson Model 58 here.

Elmer...A friend of mine had a .357 Redhawk for a while, moved away, traded it and regretted it. Three years later, I see one in a gun shop in Kernersville, NC...many hundreds of miles from where he traded his. Grabbed it for him. He makes the drive all the way here to to pick it up and visit some friends while he's in town...and it's the same gun! What are the chances? It now resides with him in his happy home near Springfield, MO.

Jericho 941, never really caught on, but I'm in love with this gun. Perfect egronomics for me, 16 round's of 9mm on tap, reliable and improved CZ design, ambi decocker, and great looks to boot. Put 1300 rounds through mine without cleaning and no jams. Some people complain it weighs to much, but I dont really mind. Recoil is very low, and followups just pop right out.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet:

The MBA Gyrojet pistol actually fired rocket bullets. It had practically no recoil. Problems included poor accuracy and slow burn times, which meant if your target was too close, the bullet didn't have enough time to get up to speed.
