PETA and science. Wouldn't that be an odd mix?

We're talking about a group that is extremely proud of its missions to raid medical research facilities to release lab animals, destroying countless man hours of priceless medical research toward AIDS, cancer, diabetes, etc. If you know someone whose life was saved by modern medical science, you know someone whose life was saved by science derived from medical testing.

Perhaps we can convince PETA types to refuse any medical treatment. . .
