10D is an amazingly good camera. Image quality is definitel better than 35mm film. It handles well, has built-in spot flash meter. It has only one flaw and that is the physically small sensor. That means the lens covers more than the sensor or the viewfinder and that, in turn, means that wide lenses aren't that wide and also that flare from backlight is hard to prevent. Someday, I'd like to get the full-frame 1DS (11MP, 100% finder) as I like to use backlight a lot. At $7,000 price, it won't be anytime soon.
