Range is in parenthesis is due to the fact that my "range" is a small plot of road leading into some federal woods. I've been using it for a few years, and it's great since it's only a mile and a half up the dirt road from where I live.

So anyway, I took my Saiga, M44, S&W 625, 686+, and CZ75B out for a spin. Only have one picture of a target. I figured I'd take a picture of a semi-decent target. I was shooting at a standard sized computer copy paper that I drew a couple of little circles on (Yeah yeah, I'm cheap. Get over it.) The target was 15 yards away and I was aiming for the middle of the center target, which is a dark thick circle with two circles around it.

I put this target up after shooting around 60 rounds of .45 ACP, 50 rounds of 9mm, 35 rounds of .38 special, 70 rounds of .223, and 10 rounds of 7.62x54R. Needless to say, I wasn't too fresh. I was working on different styles of gripping the CZ. In this last batch, I was shooting a bit to the right of my point of aim, so I figure my trigger finger needs to be positioned differently next time. All in all, 40 rounds of 9mm were shot into that target.

I had a few flyers, five if I counted right.

I had fun at the range yesterday. I took my "new" Ruger Mk. II, my Warrior with .22LR upper and my new Glock 21-SF. The .22s are easy to keep 1" groups, and so I am no closer to deciding which to use next week in small game hunting. I guess I'll just take both. :scrutiny:

Now, the Glock 21-SF, that's a different story. I'm still working on getting a good grip developed. This target was at 14 rounds of ball @ 20 yards, off hand. While it is an okay group, it isn't great. It gives me a good goal to work on. To be certain, this Glock is accurate...I just have to get the proper grip determined, and perhaps some skateboard tape.

Edit to add, any suggestions on a better grip for the G21-SF would be appreciated.

Fine, show me up.

Dont feel too bad. My Mom finally got to shoot my Kimber today and she nearly out shot me. She fell in LOVE with it. I also had my Kahr CW-9 and PT-111. She shot the CW-9 and PT-111 one time each. She liked them too But she wouldnt put the 5" 1911 down long enough to shoot them again. She is 5'2" and 110lbs. She handled that Kimber like it was a toy. HMMMM......now I wish I could get her to join and shoot IDPA with me.

I am getting to where it is hard to see all black so I use the 25 yd target with the bull and hold at 6oclock.

Looks like mine at 10yds, I don't do that well anymore at 20yds.

I usually have folks asking me for some clues. Some were qualifing the other day and all they shot is 3, 5, (no sights) 7, 10, and 15 rapid fire. 10 rounds at each with a reload of mag after 5 rounds and some just all one mag. They are allowed to shoot it with a timer there watching, the rest of us have to shoot slow fire...Rapid only if having a timer.

All the same target as you are shooting. I quit that target several years ago.

I don't shoot like others do, I use my right hand and left hand holds, both hand and single handed. I load one shoot and load again I shoot for first round accuracy and second and third, hardly shoot more then 3-5 rounds at time, and then reload and change hands or style.
