Can't say I have 300,000 rounds. 22LR occupies the majority of my stash . Have not inventoried it lately, but I would guess it is in the 40-50K area. It is kind of like money, it feels good just having it even if you don't use it.

I have about 1/10 of that stash, which ain't too bad if you ask me.

That includes my .22lr, but I really don't have all that much of it(~3-4000 rds).

No offense guys, but this kind of thread, especially with all of the photos, is fodder for the antis. They see a propagandizing opportunity if someone has 300 rounds.

Thats kinda what I was thinking, but ontop of that Im kinda surprised how willing people are to disclosing these pics and information of this kind. Perhaps Im off my rocker or just paranoid but I typically dont think this the kind of infornmation to throw around aspecially on the internet of all places just my .02 cents.

It's kinda funny to see some of the oddities in that ammo stash. Like, for example, the fact that he has about 2,000 rounds of .45ACP...and 3,000 of 7.62x45.

The amount of ammo is considerably less insane when you consider that he has belt-fed machine guns in a half dozen calibers.

Since ammo prices have gone up and up, I don't just blast away with anything other than 22rf. I also do not offer to supply the neighhood with ammunition either. They work, they can buy ammunition too.

I keep a good supply of the stuff I shoot. I try to keep things in a cost perspective. If I want to shoot, I SHOOT. I probably gauge price on a per box basis more than per the round. ... there went another $50 out the barrel.... Was it worth it? Sometimes yes and sometimes no.

Wow, you guys sure have a lot of ammo. I'm going to try to start stocking up more. I just joined this forum and I think this is going to be a good place for me.

I have a little bit of mostly pistol ammo in my closet, and then about that much again in my garage, for long guns. Here is a pic of my closet, nothing like most of you guys. Most of these stacks are at least two deep.

I don't give a DAMN what the anti's think. Bottom line--I've got the guns, I've got the ammo and the anti's have neither. And that's the way it's always going to be.

What are they going to do--throw words at me? No, they're going to try and get someone ELSE who isn't afraid of guns (like cops) to do their bidding. What a bunch of sniveling hypocritical cowards.

Of course, some of our bunch is just as bad. . .
