That's pretty pricey. I can't believe their "regular" price either. I've paid between $75 & $110 for used brassers.

I just ordered a 51 Navy 44 steel from Cabeles the other day $199, reg price was $299. I've been shooting guns for 40 years but BP is the best ever. Thanks everone for the advice.

Good choice, thats the civilian model i believe, i have the brass one and after i installed a new front sight and polished up the insides it shoots dead on at 25 yards now, pghrich

PG, do you have any pics of the work you did on that pistol? Thanks

Between now and Christmas Cabela's will be putting their Black Powder pistols on sale one or two at a time. The "Fake" Navy's might go as low as $129-$139 so if that's what you want and aren't in a hurry you might want to hang on for a few weeks and shop. $189 isn't much of a deal on a brass Navy though.

But on the other hand, if ya gotta have it, ya gotta have it right??

Im not as big a fan of the "fake" Navys as I am of the "fake" Remington army models so I will be waiting for some of those "fake" models to come up for sale. however if a steel frame "fake" navy were to get low enough I would prolly snatch one up.:D
