My wife wants a pink gun. So, now I am on the look out for a quality, economic, pink gun. I have the feeling that I will have to buy a pistol she likes then send it off to get pinkerized. :D Just out of curiousit though:

What is available in the way of pink pistols?

Where is the best place to get a pistol pinked?

Clipse,
I got this off of www.ktrange.com

<First, order an Ivory grip from KT - 20 bucks.
Now... buy a packet of Rit dye powder a shade LIGHTER than what you want. I used Rose Pink for my test piece: it looks that way in the pic, but in person it's almost red.
Use a two-quart pot, and dump the entire packet of powder into it. Add one quart of water and bring to a boil. Stir up the dye till the salt is fully dissolved, then lower the heat to a slow simmer. Mmmmm!!! No, don't drink it.
Make sure your grip doesn't have the hammerblock or mag catch in it. Then, lower it into the boiling dye with a fork, gently swishing it around to allow the liquid into all the nooks and crannies.
Let it simmer for at least 20 minutes. No less!
The dye will fully penetrate the polymer, not just coat the outside.
Now, rinse it THOROUGHLY with cold water. Get every trace of salt off; it's not a bad idea to use soap. You don't have to worry about washing the dye off. It's in there!>

edited to add: The above is applicable for the Kel-tecs P-32 and P3AT...I think Iam using to much glue..lol

Hope this helps,

I think my Hi-Point carbine would look better in pink!:)

Seriously though,Didn't(does) S&W still make a ladysmith w/a pink stock?

If they dont still make them, then they should...

'Smith really blew it marketing wise with those...They should have been trumpeting those things everywhere...

FWIW, High Standard once made the Sentinel revolver in pink, light blue, gold and silver. They used the same anodizing process that was popular on aluminum tumblers at the time. Looked rather pretty, but didn't sell well.

A friend of mine has an AR with pink-red furniture.

I'm jealous, but I dunno where she got it.

Seem to remember an ad for the EA Witnesses in pink. Many other bright, dayglow colors also. Had a pinwheel of guns in all shades of the rainbow.

Try here.

They list 14 colours. They don't list pink but I have seen car parts in pink Diamondkote.

I have seen that diamond coating website befor. A bit pricey but then again it is for the wife. I am thinking maybe a Ruger MarkII with a 4 inch bull barrel would look nice in Pink. Now I just gotta find one used.

The Charles Daly would be neat but my wife complains about how bad my P-01's recoil feels. So, I don't think she would go for a .45.

Ahh but M & R doesn't offer pink as an option. Purple yes, pink no. Bummer.

Thanks for the replies.
