Pocket Carry and Driving

I pocket carry all the time and I have full-sized nine in a GumCreek holster sort of mounted under the dash. It just works out the way that my dash console is designed that I can mount the the holster so it sits just to the right of and in front of my right knee.

I also drive manual transmission so keeping a gun under my left leg wouldn't work out for me.

I think about ankle carry but I worry that coworkers might see an ankle-carried-gun if I sit down at a conference table or something. I guess I could research it more.

I move mine to my jacket pocket or to another holster clipped inside pocket of the drivers side door.

Other vehicles can be pushed. If it is truly life or death, and you left room in front of you (which you control 100%), there are almost always options to punch out. Always room to get out w/o trading paint and bashing into things? No.

Plan A is always the vehicle, gun would be a distant plan B.
