i voted no, bu the only time i pocket carry is when i drop my pistol in my coat pocket during the winter and when it is feesable, it is put back in my iwb holster

Your choice

I use a holster to stop imprint but it makes it harder to draw. Leather or nylon seam to drag equally. I use it also because it rides more comfortably.

I prefer pocket carry and no matter what there is always something in my pocket. I prefer a holster. I carry or have carried a P32, Glock 26, S&W M38.
I prefer holster for all. I find it breaks up the outline and keeps the gun properly indexed if I need to draw. Also in the state of Georgia its a law

I answered the poll to indicate I use a holster. There are times around the house, with certain guns, and certain pants, that I will not use a holster, for brief periods of pocket carry.

Resurrecting this thread to ask if anyone has had trouble with a pocket holster pulling the pocket fabric up with it? In other words does the pocket try to come up with the holster and turn inside out? I've carried a P3AT loose in my pockets for a year but am planning on getting a Nemesis due to this thread. Are the holsters usually loose enough to not be dragged up with the pistol?

I used to use a Nemesis and now use a Superfly. I've had them both pull the pocket a little bit, but never enough to prohibit a smooth draw.

I'd just consider the Young fellow in Seattle who shot himself in the Testes recently.

Any carry in the front of my clothes, with an unguarded trigger just sounds like begging for a a low cost Vasectomy

Q: are there any inside the pant-leg straps that can go from the bottom of your Carry Pocket and tether to somewhere inside your pants to keep the Pocket properly oriented?

Hell just a few stitches would keep the pocket straight too.

Get a Mika and you won't have to learn a secret grip or handshake, resew your pockets, get specially tailored slacks or use any other techniques for pocket carry. Just stick your hand in your pocket, grab the grip and draw.

It depends on the size of the pocket vs. size of the holster.

I only pocket carry my PPS when I'm wearing my Dockers khaki shorts. They have two front cargo pockets. My holster does have grips that are supposed to keep it in the pocket, but the pocket itself is too large for the grips to grip onto. My solution was to pick up some cheap velcro strips at Walmart and sew one strip onto the inside of the pocket and the other strip onto the side of the holster. Now it works like a charm :)

My pockets stick to the holster and turn inside out when I pull the holster out of my pocket intentionally. That's the sign of a good pocket holster. But, when I draw the sticky holster stays in my pocket just fine and the gun comes out smoothly. I use a blackhawk pocket holster and lcp.

Mika pocket are excellent choices. Long wait time unfortunately.

Just to clarify
2-3 weeks isn't that long.
I ordered my first Mika Holster last week, can't wait to get it.

With a proper holster like the Nemesis the holster will stay in the pocket and let the pistol slide out easily. Remember pocket holsters aren't suppose to be tight like IWB & OWB holsters.

I haven't purchased anything from Robert for awhile but guys were commenting on the 642club about the wait times. In fact I thought for a while there he wasn't accepting new orders. Good to hear he is caught up. He is a pleasure to deal with.
