Be warned, it will ask you to log in with your Facebook account to make sure you are real...
What he said. I can't stand places doing this. Not only are there plenty of people who don't use facebook but it's easy enough to only allow one vote per IP address to keep it fair/accurate.
But I don't want to turn this thread into a pro/cons of facebook.

Hum...
fingerprint readers
you mean like the ones on smart phones?
the ones that I hear people cussing all the time

Yeah, scared, sweaty, and it only takes you 5 swipes to shoot the first round...
there is a reason this technology has not been tried by those making smart guns

guess they don't want to know what I think , as I don't have a facebook act.

so this poll is for Facebook users only. and not the rest of the world ,

Sad. Only 1.3 billion get to participate! :D Or somewhere around that number.

Yup. I'm one of those who doesn't have a Facebook account, and have no intention of getting one. What they are looking for is information that will help with directed advertising. :cuss:

what!! prove who you are to vote? We don't even do that for presidential elections.

as far as smart guns, have at it. But don't use that as an excuse to ban everything else. sadly, that's probably where the smart gun technology would lead us.

It's like requiring a hit of PCP or fix before they let you vote; FB has proven highly addicting (not to mention mood altering)

How about instead of that, a coin-cell powered revolver that automatically advances the cylinder upon detecting your finger on the trigger, making every shot light/short single action without the Mateba's complexity or cost? And still with a DA fallback in case of power failure.

I hope I am dead before logging on to Facebook is required before you can ever make known your opinion on the Internet! With so many here on THR concerned about the Government collecting information about them on every aspect of their life I think it is hilariously ironic so many people make it so easy for a corporation to gather it, sell it, and share it with the government. Facebook:barf:!!! It is the drug that turns you into a narcissistic couch potato.

What a shame these are being installed. I was hoping the herd would be culled of the self-absorbed

But you are part of the herd. You just have not realized it yet.You will wake up tomorrow and moo! :D

You make us laugh! Laughing is good. All is well. :)

Tin Foil Time! Line up! ;)

you could not be more wrong if you were paid to be

I don't do any social media , no facebook , no my-space , no twit.... and this is the only form I use for the most part , and none of my gun/hunting buddy's use any social media of any kind either , I have in-laws it there 60's and 70's that don't even go on-line at all ,but they all own guns and shoot , I guess they don't get to vote either ,
I did do Yahoo IM years ago when that was the fad , checked E-mail 3 to 4 times a day , even had an Intel Video Phone (fancy web cam) never texted before it was free, I remember hearing about $400 phone bills from kids texting !, 16 years ago everyone had an IM, Account , then web-cams then Texting , now Facebook ,

no thanks , and no tin-foil hat here either, just not in a hurry to waste more time on the next big thing , I'm 45 and the last 10 years are a blur, and I'm sure 10 years from now I wont regret not having Facebook
as for this poll wanting you to log in on facebook , well 10 years ago you would have had to text *______# to vote and pay for it , and for what it is worth I would have voted NO along with 20 others I know without facebook ,

Plus Mythbusters proved just how easy it is to fool a fingerprint reader.
