I've narrowed it down to what will become my new CCW. I carry a Glock right now (Glock 27 which is for sale on this site) but I tried out these other pistols and found out the thinner frame will fit me much more comfortable.

I put Glock 27 (my current ccw) to just see what it will compare to the other options.
Also, this is NOT a cailber war.. I chose these pistols because I actually shot them and even though they're all different calibers, its just what happens to be what I'm most accurate with.

Please, leave feedback on your decisions. I will take your opinions seriously as I am planning on purchasing very soon. Thank you.

I have the Glock G26 and the Kahr PM9. Both are nearly identical to the G27 & MK40. The PM9 is more plastic v the stainless MK40.

I've not had a handgun any easier to carry than the PM9. I do find the G26 to be more shootable (for me). The G26 has more capacity.

I went with the G27, primarily because I have complete faith in Glocks. The first thing I demand from and gun is that it never fails. I've never experienced a failure with any of my Glocks and I can not say this for any other pistol I've owned. Having said that, I've never handled a PM9 but have lusted after a P7M8.
Biker:)

I voted Kimber because I've got 4 Kimbers and that's my carry choice (Tactical Ultra).
I don't have any of the others.

I have had a Glock 27....

since they came out. It is more accurate than my full size G22. It was my carry pistol until my hands got too meaty from heavy lifting at the gym. Now it is my bedroom gun........chris3

I vote Glock

I read posts on various forums, that some have experienced failures with Glocks. But with thousands of rounds through my G26 & G17, I've never had one. I've also never seen one occur on the range. I have experienced or witnessed failures of one sort or another with each of your other choices ( as well as some other high dollar & highly regarded pistols ). But never the Glock.
Saw a great signature once. Went something like:

You show your Colts & Kimbers to your friends. You show your enemies your Glock.

Just my .02 from personal experience.

Wow, with the exception of the Kahr (a fine weapon), everything is pretty even. When I get my FL permit, I'll carry my Kimber CDP. I can carry with my GA CWP, but I don't want to risk running into some overachieving officer of the law that wants to try to be a PITA about having a GA CWP and me being a FL resident (now).

i said the p7m8, i shot one once, and it just felt right in my hand. it pointed well, shot fairly well, and just seemed solid. I definatly want one someday. though my experience was limited, it was enough to sell me on the design

I voted "Kimber" but really mean any suitable 1911, as ol' slabsides carries well.
