Poll: How often do you train

The only limiting factors for me are cost and access to my range.......

range 2 or 3 times a week. practice; teaching; developing/testing loads.
wife insists i practice cleaning the house at least once a week

I dry fire daily and live fire 2-3 times per month, more if I can visit my relatives with outside shooter-friendly areas and afford the ammo. Seems to work well...I do think there's such a thing as too much practice, in that if you get tired of doing it you would stop improving anyway.

The poll question created a conundrum for me because I am only able to shoot about once or twice a month but I train much more often.

Out on my own, I try to do at least 100 rounds per month with my carry weapon. This is aside from professional training requirements.

I work 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off. During the 3 weeks off I try to shoot 100 rounds of 22LR every morning except Sunday when the range nearest me is closed. Also shoot a few of larger calibers every week.

I "train" to some degree every time I go shooting, which is unfortunately only about once a month lately, limited by time and money. It was as often as once a week over the summer, but that was still the most I could afford (tryin' to get edumacated in collij).

I dry fire, draw, align sights on objects around the room, etc. 2-3 times a week... and I practice safe gun-handling every day, multiple times.

I take the time to think about how and what I am doing almost every time I handle a gun, and have yet to have a ND. Safe gun handling is free, and worth the time.

The only limiting factor for me is to many kids with to many hobbies. It seems that I can only make to the range once per month. So thats what I voted but I do some dry fire exercises in between those trips.

last few years it has averaged 1 visit a week recently it has been 2-3 times a month.

Less time, more expensive ammo.

I just bought my first press and dies and will begin reloading.

Train as in 'student': at least one major & one minor class each year.

Train as in 'teach': 6-8 times/year.

Shoot: Not as often as I should. About once every six weeks in winter. Every 2-3 when not shooting in coursework.
