To me the draw of the whole thing is just to have a project that's somewhat interesting.Apart from the lack of a 4473 what is the sales pitch for these things? Browning grip angle and Glock aftermarket parts?
I ask because I got one as a gift in December. It has been sitting in the box, untouched, because a quick scan of parts suppliers seemed to show that the parts to make it whole would be pretty close to the parts to buy a whole Glock.
That's awesome. So obviously you didn't use a drill press. A hand held drill? A dremel? File?Just fiinshed one up and shot it last week!
Its a pretty simple build if you have a little bit of sense and a few hand tools. A drill press will help out but not needed.
Its cheaper to buy a new glock if you dont have any parts to start with.
Picture shown is minus trigger.
I wouldn't expect that a lot of people are building them, especially since buying used Glocks is quite a bit less less expensive than building one of these. Was going to count myself lucky if I managed to get one or two people who'd done it to reply.I got no replies when I asked several months ago.

I did use a drill press, but didn't use it to finish milling off the rails, I used a file to finish it off. Used a dremel to clear for the barrel. The rear rails I used a diamond file instead of the supplied mill bit. That's awesome. So obviously you didn't use a drill press. A hand held drill? A dremel? File?
Any trouble with any of the steps you'd like to share?
