I don't have any hunting pics, but a few from the yard.

Squirrels looking for scraps below the bird feeder.

A black bear was spotted crossing the road about 1/2 mile from here. We found some poop in the yard that looked a little like it could have been from a smaller bear. I caught this a couple of nights later. I want to see a cub, but I think it is probably a tailless feral cat.

Been getting lots of doe & fawn pix on the cam on my friends place, but no bucks. Until July 14th when this little guy showed up. Got a decent buck in the woods next to me but he seems to be capable of avoiding trail cams. Got mostly night shots of the little guy until he showed up one morning in broad daylight. ............. This guy was on camera regularly, then I moved the camera. I’m not actually tracking bucks, I’m trying to see how the action is over regular time periods at specific sites, and I only have one camera.

Confirms my belief that bucks go thru a nocturnal period prior to the rut.....bigger ones seem to be showing up at night.

Saw quite a few bears come through, unfortunately never had much time to sit in the stand. Was more of a trial run for next spring, this was my first attempt at baiting.

Here are two bucks that have been on my cameras a number of times this summer. Hope they stick around til bow season starts Oct 1. I'm calling photo 1 "Wideboy" and photo 2 and 3 "Tallboy." Notice "Wideboy" in background of photo 2. Both of these guys look like they'll be real monsters if they make it to next year. Very unlikely though. This wildlife management unit is nearly 100% forested, so not the best nutrition for bucks, and has a high number of hunters. Also, very difficult to get a doe tag. So, very unlikely any of my neighbors are gonna let one of these guys walk.

We have a couple larger bucks running around on our property but this was just a cool picture of six young buck all together. The food plot had peas and beans planted in it this spring but they have mowed them right down.

Re. - Wideboy & Tallboy.......... I doubt if the neighbors would let them walk because I don't think I could pass either one up.

I'm not going to pass on them either. There are places where it might make sense to wait another year, but not in the area that I hunt.

The buck in the lower left of the frame is pretty impressive.

Some nice pics guys.
I've only gotten does and pigs at my bow stand.
No worries, I will put venison or pork in the freezer if I can.

We have ML season opening in a few weeks, so I'm going to put out my cam on my gun stand this weekend. Hopefully I'll see some bone on those.

Alabama? If so, near the Bankhead?
