Bwana John,

There are PH neutral storage boxes you can buy to store the pictures in. The store that sells them may have PH neutral acrylic slip covers to put them in. Keep them out of light and in a moderate climate (general rule of thumb, if it's comfortable for you, it's comfortable for the picture). Never put them in albums with cardboard/paper backing that the PH factor is unknown. Never use those self-adhesive albums (if they're still around) because the chemicals can contribute to fading. If you must mount them in an album, use those old fashion corners.

BTW, what ship(s) did your Grandfather serve on?
Did he ever mention about going "Asiatic?" to your father?

Its a picture of me holding my G19 in my left hand across my chest. You can see the outline of my shirt (white), but I dont know why the wall behind me was included in the white.

Im not too excited about posting a clear picture of me, especially my face, since if the wrong person did happen to know who I was, I wouldnt want to come home to find all my guns missing!
