Not only that, but from a photo of you walking by the, thousands of cameras we all get our picture taken from daily, they can get all these things in seconds. As well as where you are and where your car is at any given time. So what is anyone really going to hide?

Joe,
Do you not view what is taking place right now as an "infringement" on our 2A?

Personally,I do. And if they are infringing, which is in opposition to the 2A, what or who is to say what the future will hold for it.

You used the word "Erode". Well the definition of erode is "to eat into or away; DESTROY by slow consumption or disintegration". So end result IS to destroy the 2A according to your own words. The 2A will only last as long as there are those that protect it.

Joe, I am not trying to start a fight, only discuss. I do not believe the sky is falling. But I believe the clouds are certainly lower now.

Im already on the radar so what does it matter. Retired veteran, gun owner, forum poster and reloader......I'm pretty much on the DHS watch list already so why sweat the small stuff...;)

I certainly understand the paranoia, but the records are there. I say scream it proud. Let others know their neighbors are armed. Their mothers, father, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, neighbors, and strangers alike! We're all armed, it is our RIGHT to be so. Think about a place like massachusetts. Im originally from there, and If you didnt know any better, you would think NOBODY had a gun. (meanwhile thats very far from the truth) but one would tend the buy into the anti's state of mind if all they know of firearms is the fear that is relayed by the media...

Support your rights!

Out of the dozens or more gunsites visited by US citizens, even if only a small fraction own a gun;), that would be a huge number, though dwarfed by the approx. 300 million in the US.

The people who own guns which might belong to a 'dark gray area' of the law would not post pictures or clear descriptions anyway.

Does most of this thread suggest that FTF sales (where still legal) are now much more popular?
Until recently most gun owners seemed to look down on this method of transaction, or only trusted a gun with a warranty.

Most of mine were FTF and the latest news indicate that it will continue to be legal within most states for a while, and not just between family or 'friends'. Let them put me on a so-called, imaginary 'Watch List' for owning six Enfield rifles and several other milsurps. Ludicrous.

Life's too short to be so paranoid. If we are, then they already won battles in the psychological war. Up t#e!&s.

No. "Erode" can also be some wearing away, that stops and goes no further. It does not have to be all or nothing. There is lots of middle ground, between here and where it stops, that we still would not like. We don't want to allow pollution of our water supply because it's bad for us now and we don't want it to get worse. We don't need to assume that it will kill all life on earth... eventually. It distracts the issue at hand if we get lost in a debate about if it can eventually end all life on earth. We just need to work on stopping it.
They are trying, and failing, at the federal level. At the state level NY/CO is such an obvious infringement that I think it most of those laws will be thrown out.

It's hard to have serious and honest discussions with some people when they constantly spew blame at confiscations, executive orders, Obamanation and the damn "liberals". We need more threads about how to defeat anti-2nd Amendment politicians and less threads about paranoia of confiscations and executive orders.
