Pot Luck .357 brass… suggestion?

SLOW!!! but world work to break in the old brass
How much speed does it take to put a hole in a piece of paper?

If you want to play tough guy and try to blow up a gun with a broken wrist just stuff the cases with H110 and stick a 158gr FMJ on it and have fun until the cylinder goes.

If you want to shoot holes in paper use a light load of Universal and a 148gr wadcutter. Nice neat holes. No drama.

paRelatively slow, for a 357 Mag. But you will never mistake them for a 38 Spl, and they can be shot by the dozen without beating up the shooter.

If you want full-house Magnum rounds, then Universal isn't the powder to use. You won't get to 1350 fps with it, at least safely.

30 years ago I was all about the Sturm Und Drang when firing the Magnum revolvers. Now, not so much. A cylinder or 2 of the fire-breathing loads is enough.
I can shoot bunches of the lighter loads in one day, without regretting it the next several days.
I like to shoot my .460 to start as recoil flinch management. Because after that everything feels like a .22 Short!

try it, it works good

I would resize and carefully punch out the live primers. I don’t like unknown components.
I’m so cheap… I’ll buy a $1500 luger as ask it 30 Mauser die can be used for 30 Luger

after Primer Gate 2021… No primers goes to waste…. Not I know how the Great Depression people feel about wasting food
