My experience as well. They drop deer and tend to shoot good.
That's why I have so many. They're left over from a 308 that a friend talked me out of.They drop deer and tend to shoot good.
I was leaning toward the 7977. Because it seems to give higher velocity with the same accuracy as h1000.My experience as well.
Id generally suggest H1k or 7977 just for the temp stability.
the 168s are lighter than i usually use NOW, But they were a staple for my first .300, and i actually shot more animals with that gun than the other two or three combined.I was leaning toward the 7977. Because it seems to give higher velocity with the same accuracy as h1000.
When I searched this combination, all I found was babble about using 180 grain bullets and heavier.
H1000 takes more grains for the velocity. So it got bumped to 2nd choice.no experience with the 168 in 300WM, but I like H1000 with 175 for mine.
