I have a bunch of 168 Amax to burn through. My powder options are H1000, IMR7977, Superformance, and W760.
Does anyone have input for these lighter bullets?
Not looking for data, just your experiences.

I was leaning toward the 7977. Because it seems to give higher velocity with the same accuracy as h1000.
When I searched this combination, all I found was babble about using 180 grain bullets and heavier.
the 168s are lighter than i usually use NOW, But they were a staple for my first .300, and i actually shot more animals with that gun than the other two or three combined.
The 165 balistic tips were all my friend and his dad shot as well. They took two decent bull elk with a single shot apiece using the CT versions.

I loaded some using IMR 7977. They are compressed loads from 1 1/2 grains above the start. Seating depth is at book length because that's all my magazine can hold.
I'm waiting on a scope to come in so it will be a minute before I can shoot them.

no experience with the 168 in 300WM, but I like H1000 with 175 for mine.
H1000 takes more grains for the velocity. So it got bumped to 2nd choice.
It was extremely accurate in everything I've tried it in. I'm sure it would be in this also.
