I love my S&W 610 and have put a ton of rounds through it in competition and even hunted (successfully) with it. But from a practical point of view the S&W 610 and the SRH 10mm revolvers are way bigger than they need to be for a 6-shot 10mm Auto revolver. In general I am not a big fan of Ruger double action revolvers being a S&W revolver guy but that said the GP100 in 10mm Auto seems like a perfect fit of revolver and cartridge and is the most appealing revolver Ruger has made in a long time. The only thing better than a GP100 in 10mm would be a S&W L-frame in 10mm.
