Hmm ... I'd have to vote for the weekend of the 16th, as I've already scheduled out my vacation time with my employer for the next six months, and I normally work Saturdays and Sundays ...

My kids are out of the house and Father's Day is just another day for me, in fact it's a day to go out shooting.

I'll bring my M1 Carbine.
 
I've got two buddies coming who are fairly new shooters. They started with .22's after I took them to the range last year, and now one has a heavy barreled Howa in .308 and the other just got a National Match M1A. Should be fun :D
 
Polish, I'm working up a special load for the .50, just for you. The granddaughter says it is too light for her, so it should be about right for you. :neener:

I should have the .44 New Army by then, so we can blow lots of smoke. :D

MSN Group Trouble

I just want to keep everyone posted of the recent problems with the MSN Group. I have not been able to invite any new members to join for over a week and a half. Something is wrong on the Microsoft server side of things and it is still not fixed. I will keep you posted on any further changes and apologize for the inconvenience.

Ready to shoot and hoot in June.
 
Just got back on line......my computer was in the shop for a flippin' month. Ref; Father's Day.......if you show up on Friday afternoon and plan on leaving Sunday afternoon you'll still make it back for Father's Day.:D

I'm bringin' " 'ol painless", " 'ol sweetness", and "pretty boy". Hehehehehehehehehehe.:)

I finally got into the group again but can't find any of the original or even current messages. It also shows you as a recent new member. What's up?

Both my boys will probably join me so I can't think of a better way to spend fathers day. "Bridezilla" is all for me taking off for a weekend.

Last year, I left on Sunday with many new friends. I hope to do it again this year.

I'll try to make this. At this point all I've got are some bolt actions (couple each mil-surp and hunting), a couple pistols, and a .22lr Winchester semi-auto.
 
No Guns Needed

Sumpnz, no need to worry about what you have other than the support and joy of shooting. Most of the guys showing up will be more than glad to share for a couple rounds so you might be able to shoot something you have always thought about. Eventually someone like me will post that you can shoot my BLR in .450 Marlin but bring your own ammo for it, at $30 bucks a box:cuss: I am not willing to share too much.
 
You won't have to pay him anything. Just wait until you see him fire my special, designed-with-Polish-in-mind load:eek: in one of my Hawkins, and he won't even see you blast off a full box. :D SHHHHHH, don't tell him. :evil:
