I love that my work sends me all over the Mid-west and south. Nothing beats a Southern Belle! Plus, they all seem to think Southern California is cool. I'm still trying to work on my BS lines, but I'm too damn honest. Otherwise I'm sure I could pull the "So yeah, Tom Cruise and I were hanging out the other night..." line. Although I guess I could always try, "I hang out with Sarah Michelle Gellar's cousin all the time". That one's true. LOL.

Me too! When my wife and i first met and married, there were no guns in the equation. We lived in upstate NY at the time. We moved to VA in 8/2006. Since then i have-purchased a springfield .45xd, applied for and recieved my VA CHP. Purchased a Taurus pt111 pro. Brought home today a bushmaster rifle....holds 30 in the clip and 1 in the pipe..9mm ,wife looked at the rifle and said"cool gun"she rules!
Sign at the gun shop i just bought the rifle at says..."your wife just called and said you can buy what you want"....

There's this gal I know, she's somewhere around my age, not at all bad looking, but not a magazine covergirl either, but that's ok, looks fade, but good personality goes a long way, and she has one of those. I told her I was waiting rather impatiently for my new Ruger P89D to show up from the shipper and i can't wait to get out and try it!!! Going to go with a couple buddies, and I surprised myself by just asking if she wanted to come along, she kinda brightened up and said yeah, then I ask if she has something she can bring into the fray... she says "I can probably come up with something, maybe just a .22." I say "hey, that's cool I like 22's too. I sure miss mine!!"
Now the problem, should I be concerned that she starts a lot of her sentences with "My husband...."?
