I just purchased a Browning B80 which from what i hear is the same as the Beretta 302. Its in pretty mint condition and accepts the 2 3/4 and 3" shells. From my research this is the B80 Plus that was made post 1985 i think since it can accept the 3" shells.
I took it out today for some clay shooting. I purchased 2 boxes of winchester black box 2 3/4" "Light Load" #8, 1 1/8 oz. The shells have very difficulty ejecting. They would either be stock half way in the ejection port, or just completely just fail to even attempt to come out. I tried multiple times to shoot two clays and it would always fail on the second shot because of a failed ejection/reloading the 2nd round.
Do you think this is a gun issue or maybe the Light Load I was using. This was pretty consistent for the entire two boxes. I love how the gun shoots when it does with minimal recoil and very accurate shots, but kind of concerned about this issue. This is the first semi shotgun I have owned. I have always owned pump action so the load has never been an issue. All inputs appreciated.
