This is really good to see, how this thing is holding up. I have the exact same rifle and with the way I use it, it should last forever. As far as "bang for the buck" goes, I don't think you can beat it.

Having put together several of their combos no reason to believe you will not be going strong for thousands of rounds to go.

My PSA Freedom has about five hundred rounds through it without issues of any kind, I have a stainless barrel and the entire rifle is still as new. I have a hard time attaining high round counts in my AR's with the exception of about ten of the regulars that seem to go with me each shoot day (Colts, Bushmasters, S&W M&P and some of my special build's utilizing Aero Precision parts ) because I have so many in the racks. PSA offers their items on an honest level and price, I do shy away from the lesser grades but the Freedom name grabbed me. The mid length upper connected to a "blem" lower ( I have yet to find the blemish in the many upper and lower receivers I have purchased) in a kit form...changed stock to Rogers Super Stock, drop in MI key mod rail, Vortex hider and YHM flip sights...she is good to go.

Ya, I caught a killer deal on a midlength magpul crt kit. Not freedom but basic melonite 1:7. Flawless.

Fire_moose, I recently bought four BCG's from PSA with a box of 120 62 gr Am Eagle thrown in for a hundred bucks each. The bolts are nitride finished and machined beautifully. I inspected the key staking after your comments and my assembler apparently knew how to use the staking fixture as they are nicely done. I have other BCG's from popular sources and do find an occasional wimpy staking although i have never had a key loosen I know they can.

While on the subject of PSA i had occasion to attempt to call CS the other day, after aboout thirty five minutes off waiting i hung up. An email was sent about the problem and i was advised their system will not handle orders from an Ipad or phone......tell that to my bank account and the twelve thousand dollars i have spent with them using an ipad for my orders. Anyway problem was ignorded by CS and i purchased the parts from Aim (also using an I pad) so if you do not have the latest upright computer PSA's "system will not handle" ipad information. End of rant...except after talking with him i ordered a enhanced LPK on my Ipad and it was delivered yesterday....go figure?

I have a buddy who has been having issues with their CS. He ordered some stuff and was sent the wrong barrel. They had his email for a month-ish before hearing from them.

He was not comfortable sending the barrel back because he didn't know when or if he'd get the correct one back.

I have a Freedom midlength Stainless with 1:7 twist that I put together about 4 months ago. Runs flawless, but so far I can't get a group any better than about 5 inches @ 100 yards. Tried XM193's, M855's and several of my handloads of 62 grn. Barnes TSX and Hornady 68 grn Match and several different powders. Haven't tested any of the 70 grainers yet. Good BCG and good looking crown. Can't figure it out other than a POS barrel. Had three different optics on it and mounts. Same result, looks like a shotgun pattern. Just about ready to throw the towel in on this one. How ever my PSA CHF carbine shoots 1/2 MOA with just about any load I put through it.

I have a 308 from them and was having similar issues with 168g hornady handholds. It was shooting in a circle around the point of aim...really weird. I tried some factory 150g federal generic stuff and it shot 1inch. Also was accurate with 150g remington corelokt handholds. I might have been too close to the lands with the 168s. I will try more later. M855 is not accurate in a freedom PSA I have but it shoots 55g handholds great. Good luck with it.

Maybe PSA is still recovering from Hurricane Matthew and it's affecting CS?
