I brought a Palmetto State Armory Complete AR Upper over Christmas that had a round Olive Drab Green Carbine handguard. I immediately replaced the handguard with a Magpul and it got tossed into my spare parts box. So now I am pondering what to do with it.

My first choice is to try to trade it for a round black handguard as I have black stock and A2 grip in my parts box. I am not sure how much interest there is for green.

The other option is to buy Olive Drab Green stock and grip. My concern with doing that is getting the green in all three parts to match. I sent a message to PSA asking if the stock and grip they sell will match but they have not answered me (probably do to the holidays).

Does anyone have or have experience with all PSA AR ODG parts?

Maybe use it as a test piece to try your hand at painting/Cerakoting? If it works, great. If it doesn't, "real" black clamshell handguards are like $20 tops. I'd just use it for a learning experience.

spray it and test home made camo's, i bought the same rifle and didnt paint the hand guards. came out pretty good. Let me see if i can still find pics of it
