Yeah, it does work well. I do it with revolvers from .22 to .500 and it's very effective. Sometimes I'll just load one or two rounds in non-adjacent chambers and do the same. I have to try hard not to sneak a peek to see how they'll line up.

This exercise will also cure you from ever wanting to play Russian Roulette as well...!

Works 10 times as well if you have a pal do the loading for you.
