Our very own Dave McCracken was kind enough to set me up with a Monte Carlo stock and a Morgan adjustable buttplate for the 870 and I've seen a big improvement in my scores as a result.
But...I do miss my Limbsaver pad and my shoulder would forever thank me if I could combine it with the Morgan plate.
I did a little probing on the Morgan and, for the life of me, can't figure out how to get the pad off of the plate. The screws aren't what's holding it on there and I hate to indescriminately cut the existing pad off without knowing if the Limbsaver will even fit.
