Since SBR's are regulated under the NFA, did the last AWB apply to them, or were companies still allowed to manufacture and sell SBR's. Same question goes for a renewed AWB. If on the slight chance a new AWB got passed, would people be able to get around it by buying SBRs with a tax stamp?

I don't recall barrel length being addressed in the 1994 AWB. Instead, they regulated really important things like magazine capacity and bayonet lugs.

Full auto guns were not included in the last AWB or the currently proposed one. They are already highly regulated. No new production full auto guns can be sold to private individuals. They can only be sold to law enforcement or Class III dealers.

I don't believe short barreled rifles were impacted with the 1994 AWB.

YES! SBRs were part of the awb. You could by new ones but they were under the same "evil features" rules. That's why Kel-Tec made the SU-16D.
