Two weeks ago my wife, my son (he's 10)and i attended a CCW class, on monday we sent in our applications. On friday my license showed up my wifes hasn't yet, probably took longer to do the backround who knows.
The class was very good we went over the law, some commen sense home defense and the like. On the second day we did our qualifying, one guy showed up with out a holster
our instructer helped him out. When we were done qualing we did some drills,we did strong hand only, weak hand only,failure(two com one to the head or groin) all in all some good shooting. In the afternoon we did the fingerprinting, took our test, watched a video that he made on the different types of holsters, some very good info. Oh and for the bragging part my Son shot better than most of the adults the first time around and the second and the third and.... 
Now comes the fun part and decide how to carry my pistol, right now i have an SOB holster for my Champion so i'll work on that for now.ps For the record i did not do nahnahnah dance in front of my wife no matter what she says
