I do believe the Super Tray was meant to be used with the "Z chute/trough" filled with primers first. If they won't feed inserted into the SPP/P1K/DAPP/Bench Prime primer attachment angle, insertion portion could be angled to make the Super Tray more vertical.Holding the new tray vertically primers feed perfectly all the way down very quickly.
You do need to get the primers out of the tray into the chute to start with

You have to log in to Facebook I believe."This Video Isn't Available Anymore"
I just watched it again."This Video Isn't Available Anymore"
Another review....
What this guy had to say Vid:
Thanks for weighing in...I agree with his assessment that it does not feed down the Z trough.
After more testing, 500 small rifle run on SPP and another 500 on Bench Prime, the old triangular tray works better. Just running 100 at a time loaded into Z trough they do not feed on SPP 6000 or Bench Prime. The tray is significantly heaver than the triangular tray and the extra over hung weight is visible when operating it on the SSP primer trough. The guys video shows it well but I think that is not how it was intended to be used with 300 primers in it.
The saver will be vertical mount and 100 at a time should work with no shake. But avoiding the press with vertical mount will require some thought/design also.
Don't know, we will see.
I am on triangular trays for now........ I tested the very old round trays and the triangular works better than those also, for some reason.

I do not think getting them out of the tray into the Z trough by any method other than manually was in the design. I believe the thought was the Z trough would be easier to empty down to a press than the triangular tray but is not that case in my operations of the new tray. I am not successful with travel of primers down the Z trough with normal shaking methods provided. Filling the Z trough takes some shaking and when done close to horizontal the jamming is minimized getting into the Z trough. Thanks for weighing in...
It looks to me like the jam is at the exit of the shaker tray in that vid.
Does it look like you could mod the shaker pin to contact the column 90 degrees from the stock position?
I believe that would shake the Super tray left/right, instead of front/back.
Asking for a friend...

Powder spilling issue was completely addressed by "soft twist" index rod on SPP/Pro 6000 kit - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...-oal-consistency.911743/page-19#post-12798949When I load 9mm with CBI the cases are 0.1gr from being completely full, some minor detent adjustment makes them not spill powder.
No need to "take ram out".I just got that soft twist indexer.......do you really have to take the ram out to put in the clutch they sent with it......and is the new clutch really needed? It is different than the old clutch? Or is it supplied with the new index rod for those who buggered up their existing clutch? As you can tell, I've never had it apart that far......
No it's not needed and it is identical. AT least it looked identical when I had my press disassembled and installed all the upgrade parts in one sitting. Figured minds as well since I had the whole thing apartI just got that soft twist indexer.......do you really have to take the ram out to put in the clutch they sent with it......and is the new clutch really needed? My original clutch was actually somewhat distorted/crushed and I was happy to have a replacement for it. The Pro 6000 was surprisingly straight forward to come apart and get back together. It also gave me a chance to make sure the primer chute "shaker pin" was in solid contact with the support rodOr is it supplied with the new index rod for those who buggered up their existing clutch? As you can tell, I've never had it apart that far......
Maybe they are remaking it with more angle? At least they don't put parts out and take it or leave it......like some other c. I've experienced. No more Lee Supper tray, they pulled it from the site. I wonder what was the problem with it.
Same experience here. The Super Tray required some "tapping" to move the primers down the Z trough/chute especially when used on Bench Prime.Preliminary testing with small rifle primers showed that without the pin in the SPP 6000 primer trough, primers would not slide down the Z chute. With pin in primer trough primers fed very well and never ran me out of primers in the primer trough.
These maybe the reason.Maybe they are remaking it with more angle? No more Lee Super tray, they pulled it from the site. I wonder what was the problem with it.
That was my initial thought but if other suggestions I made flows the primers, then no need to increase angle which will require bending the feed point from flat plane.Maybe they are remaking it with more angle?
If they can revise the Super Tray to smoothly flow primers, I am sure it will be back.I was hoping to get one at Titan, I hope they come back.
