Rally, Free People!!!!!!!

Attention all Highroaders, since this June, the Heller case would be going into the spotlight, we should do our best to help the 2A cause by going to Washington and holding a rally in support of 2A. That way, we will get as much media attention as we want, and it will also be a way for us to show the rest of the country that we are not the "counter-culture", that the libperverts want people to think we are.

Our rally will be like a family event, complete with BBQs, information stands, and much, much patriotic colors waving in the wind of the capital city.

Is anybody interested? Remember, if we want to get the media to report the TRUTH, something they can't lie about, we must go there and present ourselves in the best manner, as true patriots and respectable people. And since municipal law absolutely forbids the carrying of any arms, lets wear our empty holsters.

Anybody who is interested, please tell me your thoughts. It is going to be a long process, and right now, I don't even know how much a permit for a public demonstration is going to cost.
I am trying to think of something that will seriously boost our media publicity in the good way. Please help here.

However, don't for a minute think that the "media" has any moral imperative to report the truth. Remember the “Million Mom March”? What was that, a couple hundred “moms” showed up and the press was all over it?

Might be a little late to be planning your rally on the Friday before the case is heard on a Tuesday. That gives you the weekend to get it all arranged. Good luck.

I'm betting he knows the case is being heard Tuesday but the ruling is not expected till JUNE. Since I doubt there is a firm date for the ruling to be handed down an exact date for a rally would be a crap shoot. Maybe just a pro 2A rally in DC in the lat spring.

Tuesday is just the oral arguments. The big boom will be in early summer when the decision is released.

I am hoping for wailing and gnashing of teeth in liberals hellholes across the country.

Yes I know the case is being heard tomorrow.

Tomorrow will be Lexington, Concord, and Bunker Hill. Hopefully, the end result will be a Saratoga.

Finally, in June, I hope it will be a Yorktown.

Thanks, armoredman. I think the American Revolution is the best way to portray this current, modern struggle for our civil rights. There is no better comparison than using the Founder's ideals to power our arguments.
